[Around six o'clock, Artemis is waiting for him. She's not exactly sure how this is going to happen--is Robin going to stroll up and knock on the front door like a regular person? Or is he going to pull some ninja move and just appear in a shadowy corner?
To hedge her bets, she leaves her bedroom door open so she can hear the doorbell, but also leaves her bedroom window open. You never know.]
[ The open window was a good choice. It doesn't matter how vigilant she's being: the second she looks away, even for a second, there's suddenly a teenage boy in shades perched on her windowsill like a tiny gargoyle. ]
[A pretty good tactic, since what teenager doesn't want to complain about their summer job?]
Archery demonstrator for a sports store. [She snorts] It's so boring. The targets don't even move and I have to use the store's gear. And then I have to sell stuff to people who have no idea what they're doing. I never though I'd say it, but I kind of miss training.
Gotta keep the "secret" in "secret identity" somehow.
[ He turns on his heel, facing away from her as he puts his mask on — under his sunglasses, somehow — and then takes the glasses off, stuffing them in the pocket of his hoodie. ]
[Artemis makes a "pfft" sound like she's totally unimpressed. But seriously, how did he do that? The only thing keeping her from pushing the secret identity point is the fact that she would REALLY PREFER he not push her about her own secrets.]
Cheater.
[She pulls her own cowl on, fluffing out her ponytail so it goes in the right place.]
We good to go? Or do you have the rest of the Robin outfit in your pocket? Because I won't peek if you need to change, I promise.
[Grinning, Artemis walks up to Robin and pushes him backwards towards her open window. She, of course, dives out after him. It's only, like, one story. They'll be fine.]
[ Robin tumbles out the window, laughing all the way down and landing in a neat roll in the grass below. He grins, grass in his messy hair. He hadn't expected that reaction, but that just makes it better. ]

See you at six, then.

Nice place.
Action
Jesus! There's no way you could have used the front door like a normal person, is there?
[That question is entirely rhetorical and Artemis knows it. She gets up to close her bedroom door.]
You know, I never even told you where I live.
Action
[ He really does look entirely too proud of himself. ]
Action
[She pauses, wait--do they all know? I mean, obviously the team and her entire world know about the Dynamic Duo, but what about this place?]
So, what does Robin do here? I mean, you said you have a job.
[She sits cross-legged on her bed, leaving the desk chair for him, if he wants it. Or he can keep perching in the windowsill, that's cool too.]
Action
It's real boring stuff, but it doesn't hurt to have some extra pocket money. [ eeevasive ] Didn't they give you one?

I don't even know my roommates. I can't just leave it in a drawer.
[The rest of her costume is hidden under the blankets on her bed. Is Artemis secretive? Yes. Is she good at being secretive? No.]

[He's, like, thirteen. Ew to the peeking.]

I'm kinda feeling the casual tonight. Impressive ponytail maneuvering, by the way.
Ladies first?

Ladies first? Okay.
