[She forgot this Robin, the one who gets her. Not that he's any different from the Robin at home, it's just... well, they've been through different stuff here. So maybe they're both a little different.]
... Is it weird to say you missed somebody when you just saw them yesterday? Because seriously, I just saw you, like... less than twenty-four hours ago.
His smile goes a little softer, so much more genuine. He'd missed her, too, he'd missed her so much and he hadn't said a single word about it to anyone, because Superboy's still dealing with so much of his own, and Wally had ditched him that first night — and Dick had been left to remember her all by himself. He'd wanted to call her so many times, just to talk about nothing until everything that drove him crazy about this place didn't matter quite so much.
... Sorry. I mean, it's not like I had a choice. But... sorry.
[She lifts her hand as if to make some kind of comforting gesture--patting him on the shoulder, maybe?--but then decides she has no idea what she's doing and lets her hand drop.]
Ugh, okay, that's enough of that. I mean, come on, we're from Gotham.
[Which probably doesn't have much to do with why either of them don't talk about feelings but sure, we'll go with that.]
